We opened our first Staffed Residences in 2005 as way to help Missourians with developmental disabilities thrive in a community environment. Ten years later we began supporting individuals first in Frankfort and Lexington now throughout Kentucky, building on our commitment to involve individuals in their community and help them achieve a better quality of life.
It may sound idealistic, but we truly love making a difference in people’s lives, one at a time. Operating our supported living residences is a powerful, rewarding way to make a difference—not just for the people we serve, but for each of our employees.

We offer services that bolster the freedom to earn competitive wages and other benefits. We give continued training and support services to improve the quality and maintain employment. We open avenues for increased community participation opportunities. And we push continued career exploration, job placement, and training to promote career change and growth.
The idea behind Supported Employment is the belief that every individual is capable of working competitively in the community when the right kind of job and work environment is found.
Level I: Our staffed residential homes provide individuals with the opportunity to live in a more personal environment than those provided in group homes or residential care facilities. With the assistance of Direct Support Professionals (DSP), Residential Level I allows individuals to live more independently.
Level II: Our Level II homes or Family Home Providers (FHP) give the participant the ability to live in a real family situation and become a member of the family and their community. This is an environment that provides consistence, long-term care. Family Home Providers (FHP) with Finck understand that this position is a serious, long-term commitment. Individuals are provided with a consistent, dedicated staff that opens their home and family to them.
Personal Assistance allows a person to have up to 16 hours a day of assistance with activities of daily living, transportation, medical appointments, housekeeping, toileting, medication administration, and more.
